Two weeks ago we welcomed the class of 2023–24, with 18 first-year students and nine second-year students. Something I look forward to every fall is discovering what kind of class we will have for the year. Each class, with its unique blend of individual personalities, takes on a life of its own. Some years the class as a whole is very fun-loving; some years they’re active; some years they’re musical. Maybe it’s too early to tell yet, but it seems that this year the class is particularly sober-minded. In their classes and training, and even in fellowship times, this year’s class seems to want to take it all in. Praise God! We’re excited to walk with them while they do that, and to learn alongside them. Pray for our students, that they would learn all that God has for them; and for this group, that they would enjoy themselves in the journey!
