Finances

This is a small program with a high priority. All tuition is utilized to ensure a quality program. Students are responsible for laundry, texts, riding apparel, phone calls and transportation to and from town. (Car-pooling is often practiced among students.)

Because the school is designed to prepare people for the ministry, it is the policy of the school not to accept an applicant who is financially indebted.

Housing

The School of Discipleship provides room and board for all students, utilizing dorm-style housing units with shared bathrooms. Meals are provided in the central dining hall. Housing deposits are refunded after the end of the school year once housing units have been inspected for cleanliness and damages.

Insurance

The School of Discipleship has a secondary insurance plan that may cover expenses above and beyond what the student’s own insurance will not cover, for any medical expenses that are a direct result of an injury suffered while participating in the school’s program with the attending doctor writing for the treatment. Therefore, all accident claims must go to the student’s insurance company first, and then it will be submitted to the school’s insurance.

If the student does not have insurance, the School of Discipleship will submit medical expenses that are a direct result of an injury suffered while participating in the school’s program, with the attending doctor writing for the treatment, up to the limits of the policy.

Medical expenses incurred due to sickness, chiropractic visits or injuries sustained during the student’s time-off are the responsibility of the student.

The School of Discipleship does not provide any medical or accident insurance. Each student is responsible for their own insurance.
